Update on fuel on the island.
You need to take enough fuel for your holidays on the island as fuel is no longer available on the island.

Hi Everyone,
For those that are unaware, Micat are offering frequent users and land holders a discount card, the application form is on their website on the running text on home page at www.micat.com.au.
I have pasted some of the requirements below.
Also has anyone seen the new helecopter landing pad at Bulwer with the wind sock, generator shed and floodlights? Apparently the rescue helecoptor has a remote device to start the generator and the whole area is lit up like a xmas tree.
Copy of Micat news below.
If you are applying for a Landholders Benefits Card, please attach a copy of
your rates notice for your Moreton Island property.
Please note the following terms and conditions:
• The Landholders Benefits Card is only available to the landholders whose name
appears on the property rates notice and benefits can only be claimed by the
Landholder. They cannot be claimed by friends, relatives or associates of the
landholder.
• To redeem the benefits offered on the Landholders Benefits Card, you will need
to present both your card and your drivers licence or other photographic
identification at the time of redemption.
• Benefits can only be gained once each time you are on the vessel.
• Micat Frequent Cruiser Card provides the holder with the ability to claim a half
price return fare on every sixth trip across to Moreton island. To claim the
discount, six trips must have been travelled within a 12 month period.
• Micat Frequent Cruiser Cards cannot be used in conjunction with concession
book tickets or tickets gained by prizes or donations to events by Micat.
